Uzbekistan Airways renforce son réseau chinois
Compagnie nationale du pays à l’honneur d’IFTM 2026, Uzbekistan Airways a ouvert en mai une ligne directe entre Tachkent et Canton, puis signé en juillet un accord de partage de codes avec China Southern Airlines.
Le 27 mai, Uzbekistan Airways a opéré son premier vol entre Tachkent et Canton (Guangzhou), métropole du sud de la Chine. La ligne est desservie une fois par semaine : départ de Tachkent le mercredi à 18h40, arrivée à 4h00 ; retour de Canton le jeudi à 5h30, arrivée à 9h30.
Deux mois plus tard, le 23 juillet, la compagnie a signé un accord de partage de codes avec China Southern Airlines. Il couvre ses vols de Tachkent vers Pékin (aéroport de Daxing), Canton, Urumqi et Hangzhou, et permet d’acheter auprès du transporteur ouzbek les vols de China Southern depuis Pékin, Canton et Urumqi vers Tachkent.
« La Chine est l’un de nos marchés clés », a indiqué Umid Khusanov, premier vice-président du conseil d’administration, qui évoque sur Canton une demande supérieure aux attentes et une croissance régulière sur Pékin, Urumqi et Hangzhou. La compagnie poursuit ainsi le développement de son hub de Tachkent, qui relie l’Europe à l’Asie via l’Asie centrale.

Uzbekistan Airways strengthens its China network
National carrier of Uzbekistan, IFTM 2026’s guest of honour, Uzbekistan Airways opened a direct service between Tashkent and Guangzhou in May, then signed a codeshare agreement with China Southern Airlines in July.
On 27 May, Uzbekistan Airways operated its first flight between Tashkent and Guangzhou, the main metropolis of southern China. The route is served once a week: departure from Tashkent on Wednesdays at 18:40, arriving at 04:00, with the return from Guangzhou on Thursdays at 05:30, arriving at 09:30.
Two months later, on 23 July, the carrier signed a codeshare agreement with China Southern Airlines. It covers Uzbekistan Airways flights from Tashkent to Beijing (Daxing airport), Guangzhou, Urumqi and Hangzhou, and allows passengers to book China Southern flights from Beijing, Guangzhou and Urumqi to Tashkent directly with the Uzbek national carrier.
“China is one of our key markets,” said Umid Khusanov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board, who reports demand above expectations on Guangzhou and steady growth on Beijing, Urumqi and Hangzhou. The airline continues to develop its Tashkent hub, which connects Europe and Asia through Central Asia.
