While one is able to assess the overall weight of tourism in the French economy – around €60 bn – the share of group tourism is more difficult to identify because its definition is fluctuating. In a pragmatic way, one might think that group tourism generates several billion euros, but it is its evolution and trends that should hold the attention of professionals. The first National Group Tourism Conference held yesterday at IFTM Top Resa analysed this phenomenon.
