The province of Salta, in the north-west of Argentina, is again present at IFTM Top Resa. According to tourism secretary Estanislao J. Villanueva, “The French represent the largest percentage of foreign tourists for Salta. For 15 years we have been working to improve our offer through actions carried out in cooperation with tour operators, the media and consumers”.

Reward for founder of Connaissance de Ceylan
While Connaissance de Ceylan celebrates its 35 years at IFTM Top Resa (see our edition yesterday), the receptive owes a large part of its success to its founder and CEO, Chandra Wickramasinghe. Francophone and Francophile, committed since the 80s to promoting trade and cultural exchanges between France and Sri Lanka, Chandra Wickramasinghe was awarded the insignia of Officer of the National Order of Merit on 6 November, by Jean-Marin Schuh, France’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
